Jeannette Cieszykowski was born and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri. Her passion for Feng Shui began seven years ago while completing her master’s program in Landscape Architecture at Kansas State University. During her academic career, she began studying the history of Feng Shui and its principles. She worked tirelessly on her final project titled “Restoring the Night” when she became determined to uncover how we can use artificial light to extend the benefits of restorative landscapes and healing spaces. She became fascinated with the healing capabilities of our environment and the components of Feng Shui. As a landscape architect, working behind a desk, she deeply missed interacting with people. She transitioned into lighting sales, where she spent time working with architects, interior designers, and engineers on finding optimal lighting for their spaces. She still missed the personal aspect of talking to people about their troubles, aspirations, and helping them become their best selves, living their dream life in their ideal environment.
